Ribbon/Lace Spool

Hello, today I have something a bit different to show you, I have made a Ribbon/Lace Spool
What to do with all your loose ribbon & at the same time pretty up the craftroom.

I have used the new release digi 'Angelica Crafting' from Inky Impressions.

What you will need:

1x Toilet roll
2x circles of cardstock

Stick one circle to the top & one circle to the bottom of the toilet (see below)

Cover the toilet roll will some cardstock or pretty paper, so you can't see it's a toilet roll.
Now decorate anyway you would like.

I have used mine for some heart ribbon I have & to hold it on I used a heart stick pin.
Go crazy make heaps, what a great gift idea for a someone who loves ribbons or lace.
Also you can cut your toilet roll in half & make small ones.

Hope you like my idea of this Ribbon/Lace spool, it sure is a great way to recycle your toilet rolls.

Don't forget to check out all the stamps & digi images at Inky Impressions, I'm sure there will be one you would love for the top of your own ribbon/lace spool.

All the best
Kerry

  5. This is a stroke of GENIUS to use a TP roll for a ribbon holder! I have buckets of loose ribbon that needs organizing in the worst way, and heaven knows any household is going to have plenty of TP rolls. I will start saving them up right away - thanks so much for the inspiration and for joining us at TA this week!

  6. I meant to add that I love how you decorated the roll, and this is such a great way to use up less than favorite CS as well. Thanks again! I can't wait to make some of my own!
