Fairy Lili

Hello it's Kerry here & today I am going to show you a little wooden Box I have made for my second daughter Charlotte.
I have used Fairy Lili for this box. I love to used Inky Impressions stamps on things other than just cards.

Above is the lid of the box, Charlotte picked the image & the colours for this little box. Her biggest wish was that it was Pink. So I think we covered the pink.
So to cover the box we painted it hot pink than when dry gave it a coat of white. Than when that was dry Charlotte & I sanded it back to give it a washed look.

Above is a side view of the box & as you can see I put a strip of pearl around the bottom of the box. I also put the pearls around the top of the lid.

To colour Lili I used my copic markers after colouring her I sparkled the wings.
After I glued her to the box I place some pink pearls around her, I than covered the lid with Glossy accents to protect Lili & give the lid a nice shine. I did not cover the wings because of the Sparkle & the pearls are covered half way up to stop them coming off.

I have include Charlotte name on the box so it would be something extra special for her. It now sits very proudly on her bedside table.

Want more information on what I used pop over to Inky Impressions Inspiration blog now.

Deputy Christopher

Hello, I have been very busy in the craft room the last few days so here is never card I have made. This card was made using Deputy Christopher from Inky Impressions.

I liked the sketch over at Sketches by Carly this challenge & since they had a plain one as well I got busy making this card. It's a great simple sketch for a boys card. Since I have been busy with the embossing folders why not use the dots for this card. I have inked it up using some brown ink. I added a sentiment from Inky Impressions. For the centre I added a star to match Christopher badge.

Inside the card I added more dots to match the front & also added a star to the centre.

This card will be added to the following challenges:

Cowgirl Lili

Hello, here is a easel card I have made using Cowgirl Lili from Inky Impressions. I have also used the sentiment that goes with Lili. For this card I have used a Brown & Pink colour theme.

I have used Stars & embossed them using a dot folder, also embossed the bottom paper as well. I then ink around the edge of the Stars with a brown ink then I used a pink ink for the middle. On each of the dots on the star I have put some stickles.

Under the flap that Lili is on I have add a tag with a sentiment on it. With easel cards you get a lot of space where it fold over so why not use it.

I have used lots of flowers & leaves, all the flowers have some stickles on their edges. I decide not to go for a white or cream dress, but a Pink dress for something different. I have embossed the white paper with hearts then inked it with black ink. Around the edge of the veil I have added some stickles & also to her waist band & flowers. Inky Impressions Challenge

Hello, it time for a new challenge over at Inky Impressions & this challenge is
'Use Lace or Trim'

The sponsor this week is 3 Bugs in a Rug.

So I got to thinking about what I could make with lace & a Exploding Box card with a mini easel card on top came to mind. Yes another exploding box card. What can I say I just love making them.
For this box I use Princess Lili from Inky Impressions

I have used Black, white & purple for this box. For the background behind Lili, I have used a embossing folder that just happen to match my paper. Once the pattern was on the paper I then ink it up using black ink.

I have used purple flowers & added some purple stickles to them. Love the purple on purple look. I added a bow with a heart charm & brad (from Inky Impressions).

For the centre of the box I have used a die cut flower & added some white lace. I have placed some butterflies on plastic strips all the way around the flowers. So butterflies look like their floating.

On each flap I have placed a tag with a bow & rose then added a sentiment from Inky Impressions.

Underneath I have placed another area so you have more room for writing or a photo.

For this box it has taken me about 3 to 4 hours to complete.

Don't forget to pop over now to Inky Impressions & check out the challenge & what the rest of team have created.
